"Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help and brave enough to ask for it!" - Z. Abdelnour

I honestly wish I would have heard that statement a long time ago! Instead, I had to learn the importance of asking for help the hard way. This episode is all about asking for help. We may not want to most of the time but sometimes we just have to.

“It led me to getting arrested…” At minute 2:28 I tell you the whole story of the time I got arrested? You’re probably thinking, what?! How?! Get ready for this story. I’m giving you all the details, why I was scared and how I tried to get out of it.

“I had a mugshot of me crying...” At 6:50 I was working at Walgreens which ended up with a cover story, a police report and something I didn’t ever think would happen. I ended up at the police station, scared and being interrogated. I had to tell my parents. Scared out of my mind. I’m sharing the lessons I learned looking back now and being a mom of 2.

“This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through…” At minute 14:15, I recently got into trouble...again. No mug shots, but it felt just as bad. I felt trapped and didn’t know where to go next. This time it involves my brick and mortar business.

“Maybe I am pregnant…” At 20:22 I share the one thing I thought this stress really meant. All the classic symptoms of being I? On top of thinking I’m pregnant, I was feeling so alone, like I’ve never felt before. All this stress was building up around me until I got an answer I needed to hear, I knew what I needed to do and the phone call I needed to make.

“It will never happen again. This was a wake up call…” At minute 25:07 I’m sharing a few things that I learned from both of the experiences I shared. I hope one of these lessons or something in this podcast was a game changer for you today.
